Nearly four months ago, The Summerlin Council found itself in a very challenging situation when its PEO provider suddenly went out of business. As a result, our organization had a mere five days to reestablish many of its human resource and management operations in order to meet the existing payroll schedule. I just got my paychecks and stubs and the copies of the quarterly tax filings you prepared for me. I have used ADP and Intuit previously, and not only were they incompetent, overcharging for fees, and confusing 1099 and W-4 employees, etc., but they refused to provide actual copies of the quarterly reports they filed with various governmental agencies. I am still trying to straighten out problems due to their improper filing of certain reports following the incorporation of the firm.
